THINGS TO PACK
First, avoid over packing. Nothing worse than carrying around a bunch of stuff you don't need. You may find yourself pulling your kayak out of the water to go around obstacles or through a low water section. Every extra pound counts. That said, don't skimp on what you feel you truly need.

- Whistle
- Small first aid kit
- A cellphone in a watertight protective case.
- Sunscreen.
- Bug repellent.
- A flashlight
- Emergency rain jacket
- Water & Snacks.
- Hand santizer
- Wet wipes (optional)
- Small towel in a dry bag
- A small knife
- Extra rope. Many uses.
- Water shoes with a hard sole.
- TP. When you gotta go... don't use your friends shirt.
- Watertight dry bags to carry your stuff.
